Soarele era sus pe cer, privind timid printre nori, în timp ce-şi cobora cele câteva raze pe geamurile unui studio de dans.  Între pereţii încăperii răsunau câteva acorduri de pian, iar podeaua capta fiecare strop de lumină, sclipind sub picioarele unei tinere ce se lăsa purtată de notele piesei.

Fata nu avea mai mult de 17 ani. Îşi purta părul şaten prins într-un coc, la spate. Căteva şuviţe mai scurte îi cădeau de-a lungul feţei  trădând faptul că era creaţă. Ochii îi erau verzi şi plini de tandreţe.

Rochia albă îi punea în evidenţă pielea rozalie şi noanţa roşiatică a buzelor . Îşi unduia corpul pe acordurile piesei şi-şi urmărea fiecare mişcare în oglinzile fixate în pereţi, în timp ce voalul moale al rochiei se juca de’a lungul corpului ei. O umbră fadă îi urmărea silueta prin întreaga încăpere, dublându-i  fiecare mişcare iar paşii îi alunecau pe podea ca pe gheaţă, lăsând-o să se mişte cu o graţie ireală; atât de ireală că părea a pluti în întregul studio.

The Rolling Stones – Wild Horses

Cât am stat la ţară, m-am întors în copilărie… Însoţită de o veche prietenă, m-am întins la umbra unui nuc  îndreptându-mi atenţia spre ghemotoacele mari şi albe ce pluteau în vazduh.  Unul semăna cu un pitic ce trăgea c-o mitralieră; sau ceva ce semăna a armă.

Am văzut cam tot ce era de văzut… o pisică, un pinguin, o cană de cafea inconjurată de abur, o frunză, un nufăr, un prinţ broscoi… cam de toate.

Ne uitam ţintă la cer, căutând alte creaturi şi forme.  Un nor nou semăna cu Pluto, iar un altul din faţa lui era exact copia unei puşculiţe în formă de purceluş. Apoi,  porcuşorul şi-a schimbat forma într-unul din acei dinozauri ierbivori cu gîtul lung, iar Pluto s-a transformat într-un terodactil ce scuipă foc. Apoi, a fost, din nou, rândul grăsunului să se schimbe… aşa că s-a transformat într-un T-Rex; asta în timp ce terodactilul a mai scos un cap la bătaie…

Părea o luptă între doi zmei; un desen animat, poate;  ori avem noi o imaginaţie foarte bogată.

Ambele râdeam în hohote, inspiram mirosul amărui al nucilor verzi şi priveam cum trece timpul şi cum ne schimbăm…

Lumina lunii se izbea de zeci de forme din jurul meu, dând contur unei păduri stufoase şi mute. Eram înconjurată de arbori înalţi ce-şi întindeau crengile spre a apuca cerul. La picioarele acestora creşteau mii şi mii de flori albe şi purpurii ce, parcă, luceau sub razele fine de lumină.

Eram desculţă… cu fiecare pas pe care îl făceam, îmi adînceam picioarele în nisipul argintiu ce acoperea poteca din faţa mea. Pe alocuri, pâlcuri reci de iarbă îmi gâdilau tălpile…

Cărarea cotea la stânga ceva mai departe de mine.

Aşa că am mers. Şi am mers. Am tot mers…

N-am ajuns nicăieri… Totul părea să fie la fel…doar că pădurea nu mai era mută…

Şuiera timid, iar florile dansau dezordonat pe o adiere ce răcorea întreg ţinutul…. Departe, dintre copaci, s-a auzit cântecul unei cucuvele. Apoi, păsări de tot felul, una mai ciudată ca alta, au început să se arate. Unele din ele aveau penajul într-o singură culoare; altele îl aveau in trei, cinci, zece… culori. Unele erau mici şi dolofane; unele aveau gâtul mai lung ca altele; unele ciocul mai roşu, mai albastru, mai mare, mai mic… mai altfel…

Dar toate cântau. Era o melodie dulce, săltăreaţă ce confirma ca totul e un vis frumos.

Şi-apoi… totul a fost întrerupt de un alt cântec de cucuvea… un cântec asemenea unui strigăt disperat. De peste tot se auzeau bătăi de aripi şi ţipetele ridicole ale păsărilor… Pădurea striga şi ea, florile păreau că vor să se ascundă în pământ, copacii… copacii luptau, trosneau, cădeau sub cerul negru despicat de fâşii furioase de lunină.

Totul devenea din ce în ce mai mut şi mai vag… parcă surzeam; parcă orbeam… Apoi s-a transfromat în întunerc, pe urmă-n gol…
